In a last minute decision, despite warnings from the weatherman, we packed up and headed to Lake Powell. And boy are we glad we did, it was sunny, relaxing and just plain fun. (I didn't mean it was sunny the whole time)

I have been wanting to post the pictures of Kadence's birthday, but life has been crazy, some of it unexpected, so I just haven't been able to...but, I decided to just do it so you could see the cute fairy. She may have been a little spoiled, but I don't care. You only have your "Fairy" First Birthday once...right??

I know that the day is almost over, but I just wanted to say Happy Mother's Day one more time. We all love you so much and can't say thank you enough for everything you do, but we will try to let you know how thankful we really are. Happy 1st Birthday to my Beautiful Princess. It is amazing how quickly a year passes by. I felt so much joy, happiness and love one year ago today when I held my little girl for the first time and that joy, happiness and love has only grown more and more everyday I spend with her. I am so excited to celebrate today, I love you to the moon and back sweet girl.
My own personal tulip festival outside the front door reminds me how much I love the Netherlands and our wonderful trip. Thank you so much Randy. Maybe someday we can all go there together.
Sending your son to prom is a lot different then sending your daughter. Picking out a tux took 5 minutes not the 5 plus days it took to pick out a dress! Not to mention the hair, makeup...etc. But really is he not just the most tall, handsome young man! Still wiping the tears!
