Yes you came into this world a little battered and a little bruised but you were our bundle of joy! (I know the dentist says that this is where all you problems began) I don't have the words to express how excited and how blessed I felt to have such a beautiful baby girl! You were an answer to hopes and prayers and dreams come true and you still are today. And now we have your two bundles of joy to bless our lives. Happy Birthday Karilyn

One Year!

I can't believe it has been one year! I still look back on that day and can't believe how perfect the day was. We have had an exciting year and can only imagine that the year ahead will be even more exciting :)!

Ponies
Do you remember on Charile and the Chocolate Factory when the bratty girl says: "I want a Pony Daddy..." Well that kind of makes me think of K, minus the bratty part. Kadence rode a Pony for the first time in April and well she has been hooked ever since. In fact just a little bit ago she laid down on the floor, looked up the to ceiling and dramatically said, "Mom, I just want to ride a Pony..." and Sunday my Mom had K try on a cute pair of black Kenneth Cole boots she got for her for Christmas and Kadence immediatly responded with the boots on, "I want to go ride a Pony!" So while I don't think she will ever wake up to a Pony with a ribbon on it in our backyard, we will still take her around to find a Pony to ride on, cause it is so cute!

The Truth is Out

"…it took me a long time to forgive my mom for pulling my hair really hard when she used to French braid it. I always thought she was doing it to be mean, and now that I have children, I know for sure she was. Physical abuse? Illegal. Pulling a tiny bit harder than is necessary when braiding your child's hair? Letting off some steam so that you don't do anything illegal..."
