Spruces

Well while everyone is having fun in the sun at Lake Powell, we decided to go to our ward bbq up at the Spruces Campground up Big Cottonwood Canyon. It was the perfect night to introduce Kadence to the beautiful mountains. The temperature was perfect and the sunset was beautiful as we drove back down the canyon...of course she loved being up there!

This was earlier in the day...Is this the beginning of a smily baby?? I think so!

Where has all the Family gone?

Well things have been quiet around town and I guess that limits the posts, so I thought I would entertain you with a post of random pics from the last couple of weeks. Who wouldn't want to look at lots of pics of Baby Kadence anyway.

First, Happy Father's Day again to the best Father I could ever ask for. And wasn't that cake yummy!

Baby KK has been packing on the pounds and ounces...both important in baby weight! Here she is in the hospital the day we took her home from the hospital...

And an ode to Abby...taken Sunday night as we shed tears thinking she was in her last hours. This is not said jokingly. We found out yesterday she may be with us for another 2-4 years! We love you Abby and the thought of you not being part of our family, breaks our hearts...

Welcome summer....

Thanks for helping us welcome in summer Dad! Beautiful weather, beautiful water (yes, Utah Lake can be beautiful), and beautiful company. Can't wait for more of this to come.

Schools out for the Summer!!

I am a happy camper this weekend! This is me and one of my favorite little kindergarteners. As excited as I am to sleep and take it easy for a few months, I will miss my daily hugs and hi's from these cute little things. This one is right after the flag ceremony and everyone was celebrating the summer. Ah....happy day!

4 Weeks.

Has it really been 4 weeks since I slept...uhhh I mean since Kadence was born. It has and I can't believe it. Kadence and I are celebrating today by doing some of her favorite things. Having milk for breakfast and lunch, watching morning TV, going for a ride in the car seat and singing songs. Being a Mommy is more than I ever expected, it is the best job ever. Kadence and I wanted to take this 4 week milestone to thank everyone for all you have done for us. Thanks for keeping us company, helping us get out of the house every once and a while and keeping us fed with yummy meals and treats. We love you G-Pa, Nana, Aunties and Uncles! Mwah!

nothing exciting has happened so there hasnt been any posts. well besides kadence growing up, but thats about it. so i just thought i would write a little post about how i am making dessert on sunday. its called banoffee pie and it was a london favorite. TRUST ME, youre going to want to be there. it looks sortof like this...
