10 Months

Thursday, March 31, 2011

My little Avery turned 10 months this week! I know, I can't believe it either! Here is a clip of some of her tricks.

PS: Is it any wonder why I am so dang tired! This girl goes ALL day 100 miles an hour!

Popsicle!

The other day Kadence was eating a popsicle and Avery was flipping out over it. She finally just got ahold of it and loved it. I know its horrible!

Denver

A couple of weeks ago we went to Denver with our friends. We stayed overnight at a hotel and then hit the Children's Museum and shopping the next day. We had a blast and loved getting to know our new surroundings a little bit better.

Kadence with her new friend Isaac...cute!

Children's Museum. Avery smiling even though both her ears were infected and Kadence having a blast at all the different stations.

Biking!

Tuesday, March 15, 2011

On Saturday the temperature exceeded 55, so we decided to get out our new bike trailer and test it out. I think it was still a little too chilly out, but overall it worked out great. We rode around Garden of the God's, which is beautiful. By the time we got back to the car both the girls were fast asleep.

Bathing Beauties!

On these coooooold winter days, we look forward to Bath days! I just love these smiley girls!

Pa and Kadence

And it was quite an adventure...Kadence and Avery's first time flying, Karilyn's first time flying with the girls alone, getting everyone to the SL airports so that we could all fly to Long Beach together and getting bags, car seats, and family into one car (thank heaven for Suburbans!) But we did it!
Staying at the England's beautiful Dana Point home was so fun. The only thing missing (literally) was Chandler. There was even cold Diet Coke in the fridge! What a treat. Kadence's first trip to Disneyland was a little rainy but I don't think that she cared. We had fun at the beach, fun shopping, and even fun swimming.

Noelle's Big Big Day!

All week we kept telling Noelle that her big big day was coming. Maybe we got her a little to excited and that is why she had to scream through the whole blessing. Either way, it was a fabulous day. The blessing was wonderful, and the after party also. Thanks for all your help! I really couldn't have done it without so much help.

Proud Mom and Dad with their baby.

The faithful Moore blog readers.

Thanks again for helping Tyler and I have such a special day!

View out the window of our house, Pikes Peak

Well, we made it to Colorado Springs. I can say I am almost recovered from the move, but not quite. Add a month of having Scott living in Denver and us in Utah, plus packing my entire house without his help, plus 2 busy busy girls, plus Scott coming back the day before we moved, plus moving to a new state and all the emotions that come with it and I need a VACATION! Everyone keeps telling us the weather here is out of the norm, but we arrived to 60 degree weather which quickly turned to -15 degree weather, and then snow. We have been staying in a lot since we arrived, which is probably good because we all needed some serious downtime. For some reason the snow is not received well here. School has been cancelled 2 days in the 10 days we have been here and on Sunday after Sacrament Meeting they said we could all go home to avoid having to be out in the snow, the almost 2 inches of accumulated snow. Something I am not really used to. My girls are starting to get used to all the changes. Avery of course doesn't know what is going on besides the pain her teeth are causing her. Kadence is getting used to the fact that Daddy will come home when he leaves in the morning, but continues to ask daily if she can go to "Ma Pa Taylor's." Sometimes she will say "Do they have chocolate milk here Mom," in the context that we are staying at someone's house on vacation. I am sure it will all take time. It is really beautiful here and the mountains remind me of home. We have plenty of space for visitors you all better be making plans. Scott works in a shopping center 5 minutes away with lots of great shops and we just discovered he gets a discount at the restaurants there, so basically that is our 2nd home. We are looking forward to warmer weather to begin discovering all the neat places around us. We miss everything we left in Utah, but feel really blessed to have this opportunity. Please come visit us!
