looks like honest abe cant keep the rules.
on saturday laurens dad took us all to the sailing show in annapolis, maryland. coming from a land-locked state, i was expecting an indoors boat show. but no, it was a real boat show on real water which was very strange. i missed the indoors wakeboarders! but i guess theres a part of sailing called "grinding" when someone has to hurry and crank the sail up when the wind comes. they had one there and were having a competition, anyone could play and try to win stuff. so we all started playing and we made it on the board and won calendars. we were a little disappointed but moved on. when we were getting ready to leave we walked by again and decided to give it another shot. i went first and smashed the womens record! okay not really, but i beat it! here is me by my first place name, i got 8.80 seconds and won a t-shirt for it.
lauren went after me and got... 8.79! she knocked me out of my top spot by .01 seconds. we laughed and proudly accepted out t-shirts. anyway, it was a super fun trip and im so happy i was able to go! i dont think ill be flying stand-by anymore though...

Good ole Abe has been known to sit when he shouldn't have! I can't believe you got a calander I am soooo jealous!
I heard about your little stunt on stand by. Doesn't sound like fun, but the rest of your trip sounds fun enough that it made up for it. I am sure you were excited about a free t-shirt I know how you love those.
