well, the big day has finally arrived! we have been counting down the days since kari awkwardly told us she was pregnant, us thinking that britney spears' baby was joining us on the cruise. kadence elizabeth preston was brought into the world at 10:00 this morning, weighing 7 pounds and 1 ounce. she is absolutely beautiful and we cant decide who she looks more like. i think we concluded that she is a perfect mix of the two. kari looked gorgeous as usually, nothing but a little wincing to remind us that she did go through a c-section this morning. and scott is a perfect new dad, even changing the first diaper (we heard it wasnt pretty). 
the only problem came with us moore girls fighting over who gets to hold her. but, kari and scott, we love you so much and cant wait to play with your new addition some more!

OHHH!! I've been waiting ALL day to hear how it went. I bet you didn't sleep a WINK last night with excitement/nervousness, Kari!
Kadence is an ADORABLE name*I'm sure scott loves the reference to cycling...) and I think you had it all along and were just keeping it a secret. She matches that name to a T! What a doll!
Congrats to you both! And yes, you do look gorgeous Kari! I'm SO excited to see her!
Let me add that she is just beautiful and currently such a good baby. It was love the minute I heard her crying. How wonderful it is to see your daughter holding her brand new beautiful daughter. What a joy. I am so proud of you Karilyn and you too Scott. Love your sweet new family!
