okay, well we are off to paris in about an hour. unfortunately we woke up to the news over here of president hinckleys death. what a great man. its weird to think of the church without him, conference in april will definitely be different. im sure ill be waiting the whole time for him to stand up and talk. i dont really have anything special to say, just that i know hes going to be missed so much. this is going to be really hard for our generation. right now i cant help but think that i really wish i was at byu during this time. i dont know how anybody could deny him as a prophet of god. well family, the church is true. i love you all and will talk to you soon. pearee (paris for you none french speakers) here i come!

Interesting picture...both men are prophets. That is the great thing about the church, it will continue to go forward. We don't have to wait for smoke to be a certain color. God has everything in order, his house is a house of order and the church will not miss a beat not to say that Pres. Hinckley won't be greatly missed. It like losing your grandfather. Hope you have a wonderful trip; can't wait to see and hear all about it:)
He will be greatly missed. I will never forget meeting him at the National Press Club in Washington D.C. he had the entire audience laughing. We are so blessed to have had him as a Prophet.
Thanks for posting that picture Kristen! Isn't it amazing that you can love someone that you have really never meet? We are so blessed to have had him in our lives for so long, and to have learned SO SO much from him! Hopefully we can all commit to living a little more like him...we know that is what he worked so hard for! Hope you are having fun in Paris!
