dude. i saw some bomb stuff today. let me tell you about my day. so living here really is very tight quarters, and youre with people, all day. and this week its been wearing on me, you guys know how i get. so this morning i decided to go on my own to the british library. seriously, it has been one of my favorite places so far. i tried to write down all the cool stuff they have in there, and here is what i came up with. the original manuscript of beowulf, works and letters of jane austens, one of william wordsworths poems, charlotte brontes "jane eyre", lewis carrolls original "alice in wonderland", thomas hardys "tess of the dubervilles", some of oscar wildes stuff, some of virginia woolfs stuff, one of sylvia plaths poems, some of bachs, chopins, beethovens, and mozarts music, part of handels messiah, some of leonardo di vincis personal notebooks, the gutenberg bible, part of hebrews, like ya, from the bible. this is a picture.
and some of issac newton and charles darwins letters and notes. wow. i told you, bomb stuff. but there were three things that were my favorites. first, a letter from florence nightingale to sidney herbert. florence nightingale is pretty much the queen of public health. it was way cool. second, the beatles exhibit! you are not allowed to take pictures of anything in the library, but i did anyway. i thought taylor might like these pictures...
so the british library was WAY cool and mom and dad, were goin back. so get ready. after that i cough cough, did a little more shopping. skipping over that detail, we then went to this place called the orangery. it is at kensington palace and it is a tea place. it was so much fun! this is us with our tea and snacks.
i tried the chamomile tea with amy while the others girls tried the rosehip. it was a ton of fun and mom and dad, were goin back. so get ready. we decided around easter we want to all get easter dresses and go again. anyway, tonight there was also an amazing sunset! this is a view from our back balcony.
i even got to pull out the tripod. it was way fun. and sorry for the two really long posts in a row, i guess i just had a lot to say! i am going to post again tomorrow when i take pictures of the clothes ive bought. then im off to paris so i wont be posting for a while. love you all.

this is the original copy of "i wanna hold your hand"
and this is the original of "strawberry fields forever"
so ya, the beatles case was way cool. and then, the main thing they have there, is the original magna carta. i guess theres only four copies that remain and they have one of them and then a couple other really old copies of it. they original is not on display til july but this one was written in about 1215.
