so i am excited to see a post from mom and dad soon about their beach getaway, but in the mean time i thought i would throw in a little post. weve done some fun stuff this week but i havent posted anything, so here it goes. on monday meg, betsy, and i went back to hampstead. except this time we went to the kenwood house which is where they filmed part of the movie notting hill. it is gorgeous! and london had a really big warm spell last week so we just hung out on the grass and ate some lunch. it was gorgeous!

then tuesday night was when we went to wicked!!! it was AMAZING! i had class that day so michelle went and bought tickets and got one for me. she came back with the news that our tickets were on the front row! it really is such a good play, good moral too. i think its inspiring. and the elpheba they had here really was so good. we hung around after and got some autographs, our favorites were elephba and glinda and we got fiyeros (i dont know how to spell his name). but i loved the play and i just might have to go see it again. this is michelle, kate, hannah, me, becca, and mike before we saw it! and the one below is me, michelle, mike, and lindsey afterwards.
wednesday was another field trip day, but i wasnt really in the mood for a field trip this week. our first stop was runnymede which is where the magna carta was signed. it was muddy and the professors didnt bother to tell us to wear good shoes. grrrrrrr.
here is our first group shot!
after runnymede we headed off the windsor castle. it was really fun! it is so big, i had no idea. we hung out there for a little bit, went on the audioguide tour. after that we went on the "long walk" which is like a 2-mile long straight pathway from the castle leading out. we didnt do the whole thing but we took some fun pictures and had a good time.
and i mean kendra and i had a REALLY good time. ok not really, we just found a pile of empty alcohol bottles and thought it was funny.
our last stop was stoke podges. it is a little town where thomas gray wrote his most famous poem. ya, it didnt mean much to me either. but it was pretty!
valentines was great too. mike (the lone boy) wrote a poem and organized some valentines stuff for all the girls. it was really nice of him! i had class all day then we went to harrods for a treat that night. brittney and i shared the banana royale. its one scoop of caramel gelato, one of banana, and sliced bananas, caramel sauce, and a chocolate cup. it was divine. other that that weve just been hanging out this week. we turned off all the lights in the centre last night and played sardines. it was a good time too. k well we are off to little venice! ill call tonight and mom i want to see a post from you! love you all so much! have fun in the snow!
